Why 45 days?
Long enough to actually shift something. Short enough that you can see the finish line from day one. Anything shorter and you're back to old habits before they had a chance to stick. Anything longer and you'll quit before you get there.
Why 3 promises?
We're not trying to become a new person overnight. That's exactly the pattern we're breaking. Take on too much at once and you'll burn out by week one - same as every other time. Three is enough to actually move the needle without overwhelming you.
Can I change promises halfway?
No. Picking the right promises is part of the work. If you got it wrong this round, finish anyway - even if you fail them. That's the data you need to pick better ones next time. Swapping mid-way is just another way of quitting.
What if I miss a day?
You get 2 skips per challenge. Life happens - you get sick, you travel, something comes up. That's what they're for. But if you miss more than that, the challenge restarts. Not to punish you. Because the whole point is keeping your word to yourself, and a challenge you fudged your way through doesn't prove anything.
Is there a free version of the app?
No. It's $24.99, one time. You pay once and you can do the challenge as many times as you want — same promises or new ones, forever. No subscription, nothing to cancel.
